At Minio, we are all business-oriented people and we support other entrepreneurial initiatives. So we were excited to create a pro-bono digital communication campaign for StartITup Program by Global Women in Tech (GWiT) organization. We used the concept of women empowerment in a field which is mostly dominated by men (in both IT and entrepreneurship men are the majority) and communicated it through the headline ”Be the one, you can do IT!”. We created a series of Social Media posts for Facebook & LinkedIn, encouraging women entrepreneurs in IT to apply. Without any media budget and based solely on PR and the word of mouth approach of the 4 campaign ambassadors, we spoke to our target, an audience that is usually heterogeneous and hard to approach due to its lack of time and different priorities.
